and finishing the game with 10 after injuries to Walt L and JC, United
won their second consecutive game of the season over an improved Mt
Lebo/Heidelberg team.
We possessed the ball well in the first half and were unlucky to go
into the break scoreless after a couple of missed chances.
MtLH caught us off-guard and scored the first goal of the game in the
first minute of the second half. At about the hour mark, Bill P sent in a nice ball from a set piece that Camden finished. JC was then chopped down outside the area and was
forced to leave the game through injury. Doug B found Mike D on the
ensuing kick to give United the lead with eight minutes to play. Bill
P held the defense firm in his first game in nearly six months to
close out the game.
