Good win yesterday, boys despite having no subs and playing in freezing rain.  Goals by Ed P and Denny W. We're now 1-1 on on the year.

Home field directions have been updated

The "home field directions" link on the right hand side now is a google map showing where the middle school field is...It's just down E Union Rd from the stadium.

...a scheduling note

I am going to try to schedule our home games around known pens playoff times.  Inasmuch as we are also coordinating things with the youth teams, this means can't just pick the time we play as is most convenient to us. 

The first game, for instance, we can only play earlier than normal (11am), or during the the hockey game...so I'm scheduling it for 11am.  We'll see how things go down the road.

O-30's schedule change

It seems that we are now playing a 14 game season - Spring and Fall combined.  Some teams will play seven games in the Spring and seven in the Fall, but we're playing six in the Spring and eight in the Fall. 

Bad News (field related)

We found out last week that the HS stadium we have played on for the past several years suffered some damage over the winter and will be out of commission for all teams, including DL youth soccer until July. 

The upside is that because youth as well as our teams have been playing at the stadium, the grass field at the intermediate school - where we will now be playing our home games -  is actually in as good of condition as your likely to play on this time of year.
